Helping others achieve their fitness goals and better their lives, to me, is one of the most satisfying feeling of accomplishment there is.

Sports, and fitness in general have always been a big part in my life. Growing up I played almost every sport under the sun.  Whether that be in an organized atmosphere, or just with my friends in the local field, I was, and still am a very active person. Playing hockey and lacrosse in high school, I was always looking to better myself as an athlete on and off the ice/field. During my sophomore year, a gym teacher of mine introduced me to this new website he had found called crossfit.com. I started following workouts off the website and I was immediately hooked. The workouts were challenging, yet enjoyable, and pushed me to my physical limits. CrossFit also introduced me to many movements I was not so familiar with such as Olympic Lifting and the gymnastic side of fitness. I have found over the years that learning and practicing these movements continue to benefit me tremendously in my everyday life.
I am honored to be a part of the CrossFit TILT coaching team. I enjoy walking in the gym every day and helping the people who have become a second family to me. CrossFit is just as much about community as it is about bettering your lifestyle and getting physically fit. I think that is one of the big things that keeps the fire burning inside me to better myself everyday, both as a coach, and as an athlete.
