When and how did you get started with us?
I started at crossfit tilt in November, 2016. I just finished training/running a marathon and decided I wanted to switch it up and start lifting again. I went to Crossfit tilt in Waltham once and when I found out they had one in Sudbury I decided to join (because it’s closer to my house than Waltham.)
Anything with a barbell. Typically I LOVE workouts with running and barbell work together.

I actually don’t have one….I don’t necessarily like the workouts that expose my weaknesses (aka pull ups) but what doesn’t kill you only makes you stronger, AM I RIGHT?
If there were a Kelsee WOD, what would it be?
What’s the best part about working out with the 5:30am class?
The best part about the 5:30 am class is probably the atmosphere. Everyone in that class is so energetic (for 530 am) and truly wants to be there and get better. I’ve found so much motivation from that group of people and it forces me to push myself to limits I didn’t know I would. It is really easy to use less weight or not go for that last rep, but the people in the 530 am definitely make me want to be better every day in the gym. I also love how everyone stays after class to get extra work in. When I see other people push themselves like that, it makes me want to join them.
What does a day in the life of Kelsee look like?
A day in the life of Kelsee….. hmmmmmm:
Wake up, chug a coffee before the 530am class, go to work and then come home and cook/hang out with family and go to bed.. repeat. I love being in a routine so my days are pretty simple. On the weekends it’s a little different but I definitely spend A LOT of my time at the gym or eating.
What’s the best cheat meal you had after the Nutrition Challenge?
A mudslide… or 4.
If you could be any animal in the world, what animal would you be and why?
A monkey because then I would be able to do pull ups and cool stuff on the bar.
You’re a new addition to the crayon box. What color would you be and why?
Light green, it’s always been my favorite color.
What is something we don’t know about you?
I feel like everyone already knows everything about me… But, I played the saxophone for 8 years in middle/high school.
